  • Blackwell HR Solutions is currently reviewing applications for Human Resources Principal to join our talented team. Headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware, our Human Resources Principals provide consulting services throughout the mid-Atlantic area to a variety of commercial, education, and non-profit clients.

    As a Human Resources Principal, you will be responsible for the delivery of client services supporting a combination of retained Human Resources assignments and project-based engagements. You may serve as a department of one, developing and implementing strategic Human Resources processes, procedures, and programs or be a part of an existing Human Resources team. The ability to “roll-up your sleeves” and take on the foundational and operational components of Human Resources will also be a requirement for the position. This role may serve as a lead for smaller client engagements as well as participate in the preparation of and the delivery of formal client presentations.

    Successful candidates will be excited by improving or augmenting processes and programs, will be able to interface directly with the senior leadership of the organization to discuss the pros and cons of different strategies, and be able to dig into issues and find resolutions that balance the needs of the employees, the organization, and the clients/customers.

    • A minimum of five years of progressive HR Generalist experience 

    • All qualified applicants should hold an active HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) or be willing to obtain one during the first 6 months of employment 

    • Depth and expertise in at least one functional area of human resources, such as benefits management, compensation, performance management or compliance 

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products or similar platform 

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability and confidence to communicate at all levels of the organization, including C-Suite and VP levels 

    • Experience developing and presenting compelling presentations 

    • Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment 

    • Flexibility and willingness to work in a variety of locations with travel to client sites as needed
